Location of Pixhawk 2.1 mounting

I have an X8 I’m building and have just received my replacement Pixhawk 2.1.The height of the cube precludes me from mounting it between the deck plates or underneath on the gimbal carrier so the only place for it is on the top plate.This would put the cube very close to,and between,the two 10,000mAh 6S packs mounted on the top.So the question is will I be running into any nasty EMI problems mounted that close to the batteries ?

Just disable internal magnetometers and use one (or more) external.

Thanks Andre.Makes sense.

It’s still a bit close for comfort to my eye.I may have to find another frame to mount the 2.1 on.
