The drivers are not compatible as the apm2.8 is not supported since many years.
I would suggest you use up to date Flight Controllers = look at WIKI
You may have a result if you set the TfMini in the ascii mode (reports distances in cleard text) and use one of the Sonar Driver but dont ask me to dig deeper
