Landslide terrain following - terrain file edit?

I never use terrain following but next mission would really require it.
The area is small 600x120 meters but with a big terrain altitude difference, 500 meters .

I suspect that available terrain accuracy data might be poor or not updated because of the landslide.

Is it possible to manually edit the terrain file ad update it with the correct terrain altitudes ?

If it’s really important, you could first fly higher and generate a dsm. Then load the dsm into mission planner.

Good suggestion X1, I will investigate old posts about that feature .

@lucamax I frequently fly landfills. Generally they will have an old aerial topo, usually within a year or two that is more representative of what the SRTM data shows. I can usually get a hold of that topo in an autocad format, make a surface and use global mapper to create a DTM for our mission. The next time we fly i use the terrain from our previous flights.

Thanks for the suggestion Nick, I will give it a try
