Landing a VTOL vehicle in auto

Hi.I need help.
It seems like our VTOL vehicle is attempting to circle around rather than heading directly to the landing point before transitioning. When we refer to the Arducopter Auto VTOL Landing page, it suggests that it should perform a spiral approach during landing. If we add 16 to the Q-Options, can it transition directly over the landing point without performing a spiral approach and land as a drone? We are using MissionPlanner 4.3 firmware.Could you help?
