Kill Motors on crash

In the event of a flip or crash is the recommended set up to use the auxilarry as suggested here?
or is there a newer approach
Due to an error on my part yesterday I flipped mine and a kill switch on the radio would have been handy

We have crash detection that should stop the motors, but there will be cases where it doesn’t detect it, so yes, your best approach is to have either interlock or emergency motor shutdown setup in an aux switch.

Yeah it did not cut off,
but the copter held up well, just one busted prop
so I will set it up and put a guard over it

It might not need to have a cover on the switch

I always use a kill switch on the spring loaded switch of the Taranis (SH). If by any chance I use the switch I have 5 seconds to release it and return everything to normal
