That’ll do me – even the spikes at beginning and end are less than 30 
The FC is now mounted on the tail boom mounting block using Kyosho 5mm gel, with the lead still on the outside of the housing as a damper. Just need to tidy up the cable runs now before a longer test at the flying field.
