I am just building my first multicoper (a hex) and coming up to speed, so apologies if this is a basic question already answered elsewhere … but I couldn’t find in instructions or by searching forums. I’ve ordered an APM2.5.
I’m looking at using a 2D brushless gimbal such as the Tarot T-2D (tarot-rc.com/index.php?main_ … ts_id=1026) which seems to be getting good reviews.
I’m assuming it would be better to use the gimbal control integrated with the APM rather than a stand-alone controller because it seems extra weight and cost to do otherwise … but please let me know if there are good reasons to use a separate gimbal controller.
Can I connect the APM2.5 directly to the gimbal, and if not then what interface electronics do I need?
