Hello All,
I am learning to build a drone that can provide a real-time video feed to a PC for live computer vision processing. The idea is not to use an onboard computer like Jetson due to the very high processing power required.
I am trying to integrate a FLIR thermal camera for wireless video transmission (without internet) to a PC. The goal is to receive the video on the PC and run algorithms on it live.
I have tried to research this, including looking at other platforms, but most discussions focus on cameras for FPV applications to FPV monitors. There is no clear approach for wireless video feed to a PC, specifically for FLIR cameras.
I came across a YouTube video by Jeff Higgson (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3MbV1krjxY), which implements something similar. I would be grateful for any technical assistance on the hardware and software pipeline to achieve this.
Thank you all for your time.
