Hi!
I have a Ardupilot 2.5 running the latest APM Rover. I have set the INITIAL_MODE to 10; but when I boot the car, the telemetry coming back into mission planner shows the mode as ‘manual’ in the HUD (and the rover doesn’t respond to the kickstart).
If I set the rover to ‘auto’ mode via the radio link or the RC controller, it shows auto mode in the HUD, and the kickstart works fine.
I suspect that, even though I’m not touching them, either the RC controller or the telem link are overriding the INITIAL_MODE, so I tried booting the car w/o either connected, but am not getting a different result.
Any thoughts?
