Initial flight parameters

I’m getting prepped to carry out the first flight of a OMP M4 with a Pixhawk 6C Mini next week. Reading through the wiki I see in the section “prep for tuning” there is a list of suggested initial parameters. They are close, but not exactly the same as the default parameters.

For example: ATC_RAT_PIT_P default is 0.024, and suggested in the wiki is 0.

My question is: since these parameters don’t appear until the tuning section, should I stick with defaults for the initial hover checks and filter tuning then change them for tuning or should I use these suggested parameters right from the beginning?

@Allister i would suggest the initial would be good for initial flight to look at the vibrations and hover trim. Then use the Params suggested in the tuning wiki to start tuning. Of course if you see any oscillations during the maiden flights before tuning then you will have to reduce the default gains.
