I just got the ardu pilot mega 2.5. I downloaded the software (ardu copter 2.9 1b). How do you open/load the software?

Newbie too
I have a MultiWii flight controller with ATMega328P MPU-6050 acceler, BMP085 baro, HMC5883L compass and a GPS option.
What would it take to run APM/arducopter on this? How much memory does the firmware need?
