Please help .I use apm2.8 v3.2.1. I want a desired altitude in althold mode example 3 feet from the ground in althold mode. If possible which parameter I need to decrease or increase.i am new in this field
That is both very old hardware and software you are running (almost a decade old). I strongly recommend that you upgrade both as they are no longer supported.
I do not know for software versions that old. However, it probably hasn’t changed that much. Alt hold has always been a “pilot mode”. i.e. you control the desired climb rate with the throttle stick on the transmitter. The desired altitude is then calculated from desired climb rate. You cannot enter a numeric value for alt hold. To do that you will want something like auto or guided modes. I do not know if they are included in that firmware or what functionality those modes would have.
