I cant change my mode in mavproxy

Hi, I am trying to create a communication with rpi and fmu. I have installed mavproxy and i can download logs with log download command but I cannot change the modes of drone for eg. going from manual mode to stabilized mode or RTL mode or whatever. Did somebody else experienced this or can somebody help me with this case.

Yeah I experienced the same thing but it was due to how I had the hardware connected. Whats your setup?
