How to take off?

Hi everybody!

I’m trying to use DroidPlanner with a Parrot AR Drone. But once I planned a mission, how can I take off? Do I need a rc transmitter?

Droidplanner only works with apm boards. It wont work with a AR drone unless you put a apm board in it.
