How to sensing signal from each segment on Leddar Vu8 lidar

I want to make collision avodance with Leddar Vu8 lidar.
It has 8 segment signal.
I wonder how to read signal from each segment and does the source code exist in ardupilot…
I asked to Leddar corp. but they answerd that doesn’t support for Vu8 lidar…
what should I do for this and where??
