How can I resize the left-hand pane from the position it starts at more to the right? I was expecting a hover arrow to allow me to move it, but when I hover my mouse over the seam the mouse icon doesn’t change.

It does work on Windows, not sure about others.
Anyway you can change the divider position in the config.xml file by setting the

sometimes changing the map and the hud position (swap map and hud, right click on map) will let you move certain things around.
