How to add additional sensors on the APM

Hi all,

I’m new guy coming in this community, and I’m looking to add additional sensors on the APM board for my futur Arduplane, I tried to find anything about this in the documentation , but without success.
In my understanding it was like doing that on an Arduino, well I’m not sure it’s so easy …
My idea is to add for example an air temperature sensor on my plane, do you have any docs about that ? or maybe someone tested this kind of sensor and maybe can give any help ?
