How can you adjust the inertial system by indicating the real position of the plane on the map?

If the GPS is turned off, how can you set the real position of the aircraft on the map, override the position calculated by the inertial system to the actual one that the pilot sees on the video. It would be nice to add the ability to indicate wind direction and strength if the autopilot has miscalculated. What function of the source codes determines the coordinates of the aircraft, and can they be overridden from the context menu in the mission planner?

IIRC MavProxy allows setting EKF origin in a way conductive to continued dead reckoning though I haven’t done that.
