Hello,
My first post… I’m having an issue with my Clouds plane using the latest Pixhawk 2 and Here GPS. For some reason it almost caused me a crash.
This happened to me on another bird that I lost during a crash and my fault for not noticing the alt being too high.
The home alt is way too high. How can I change a setting, update, calibrate or whatever to get rid of this annoying issue. There has to be an easy change that I’m missing.
The home Alt that you see shows the Absolute altitude, Not the relative altitude. So, the altitude you’re seeing might be correct.
What happened during the crash/ near crash? perhaps it was something else that had an issue.
Nihal,
Wasn’t really a crash, its that I had limited control. My Mix_gain was too low so I raised from .5 to 1. That’s gonna help I think. The altitude on the OSD was being displayed incorrect, being really high. As if it had altitude plus homealt.added on he display.
Does anyone have any input to this? Why is that the GPS shows on the OSD with 250+M too high when in fact it should be 0. I don’t get it. It shows 0 on the HUD, but shows 250+M for homealt.
There must be some smarter guys trying to figure this out easily, especially using MinimOSD because it’s been a nightmare for me. lol.
I will try this out on changing it on the config file.
//#define USEBAROALTITUDE // Undefine this if you have a BARO to use BARO for FW altitude instead of GPS (requires controller with BARO sensor) ** Recommended **
