Home position in "planner"

My 1st waypoint is always at lat , lon 0. How do I get this to update to somewhere more local? Preferably where the copter is actually armed…

LOVE this app. Works great on my S4 Active with OTG adapter and 3DR radio.

Try pressing the “Load from APM” button on the overflow menu.

And what do you mean about the “first waypoint” is that home or the first waypoint of the mission?
