Holybro f9p + pixhawk 2 cube black

hi everyone, I have to figure out how to set my f9p by holybro to the cube black…

I tried the recommendation by holybro and I set it up to the GPS 2 port with 6 pin connector and the mission planner not recognizing the GPS (no hdop and sat)

is there someone with experience with this combination?

I am not sure if the F9P is supported by ArduCopter 4.0.x

Check your GPS_TYPE2 parameter, try 1 or 2

I think holybro put information about cube and f9p … this should work together

They work fine together in ArduCopter 4.2.3 version, yes.
I have them here and can verfy it.

I put 4.2.3 and also its doesn’t work

Then you are doing something wrong. Are you crossing the tx-rx lines?
What are your parameters?

yes I cross the TX RX the parameter is set for gps_type2

Do you have any idea?

Have my H-RTK F9P Helical running fine on the cube Black as well running on the Orange. So it should work with standard supplied cable

can you give your parameters for that ? and which port you use

Port = GPS2 = Serial4
SERIAL4_BAUD = 38
SERIAL4_PROTOCOL = 5
GPS_TYPE = 1

  • Be sure there is only 1 SERIALx_PROTOCOL with the value of 5

Like I wrote, this works for me with the standard Holybro F9P
