Help with trex 500 flybarred with arducopter

Hi, I am hoping to setup a Trex 500 which is a flybarred version to allow me a modicum of auto stability etc using a Matek H743 wing FC. The Heli has an align tail gyro currently. I did consider converting to a FBL or DFC head but think maybe that is too complex. Will this idea work with the flybarred? Any tips would be appreciated thank you

It works with flybar heads, I suggest to follow this tips for initial tuning.
