Hi all, I’m interested in hardware reccomendations for flight controllers to run arduplane.
In particular, I’m reasonably happy with arduplane on pixhawk mini/pix falcon. I am considering a more robust controller and to introduce video streaming over Wi-Fi to the GCS. My automation requirements are not great. Nothing more than simple waypoint plotting and autolanding. I don’t need a lot of GPIO. My platform is a flying wing so just elevons and throttle. No landing gear or camera shutters or flaps or anything else. But maybe it would be nice to experiment with those things and/or more sophisticated control scripting via dronekit as I learn more.
I have been considering:
Pixhawk 2 - do I need the Edison to stream video over wifi, for compression or something else?
Beaglebone black - I don’t know much about it but it sounds interesting.
Raspberry Pi / Navio - I don’t know much about it but it sounds interesting
Intel Aero - I don’t know much about it but it sounds interesting
Stick with what I know - if the pixfalcon ain’t broke don’t fix it.
Something else I didn’t mention
