This is a compact and relatively cheap ultrasonic anemometer that will provide much more accurate readings than the existing wind-vane types currently supported by rover. I have been in contact with the manufacture and obtained a 25% discount.

Planned amount $$ (USD): (247.31 euro) ~ = $277.24

Estimated time for completion: Need for second half of GSoC project (mid June), but the sooner the better.
