I want to re-program the GPS receiver on my APM 2.6 because it does not seem to be configured correctly. For this I need to make up an adaptor cable to connect the GPS to an FTDI to do the configuration with U-Centre. One option would be to plug this cable directly into the GPS board. Another would be to use a socket into which I could plug the output lead that normally goes into the APM socket. Can anyone advise me what the little plugs and sockets on the GPS unit are called so that I can buy some ?
Answer: They are DF13 type connectors
