Hi
I have a 450 Quad fitted with a APM board. On looking at the log from my last training flight, I noticed that it is showing a lot of Err GPS-2 and GPS-0 errors. Looking at the number of Sats, it shows between 6 and 7 for most of the flight duration.
Can anybody explain what would cause this please? Log files attached

My Analysis program finds many issue here.
Did you wait 5 minutes for the GPS to stabilize before arming?
I ask because you have many GPS issues as you take off…

The program points out that the arming check is not set to do a full check, did you mean to do this?
ARMING_CHECK = -9
Warning: Pre-Arming Check is not Active (0=Off & 1=On)
Also not that you RTL is set less than 15m
PARAMETER ISSUES:-
RTL_ALT = 1000
Warning: Return to Launch Altitude is less than 15 meters (Value in CM)
Your APM is also struggling at times:-

Personally, if you did not wait 5 minutes before you flight then do this first and try again.
If it is the same then first you need to sort your GPS issues!

In fact, looking at that Arming Check value it is “not valid”.
In view of this I would do a reset and erase, then do all the setup again!
Do you upgrade the firmware without do this?

Thank you for the reply, I’ve not been on the Forum due to decorating for the last few days…
I disabled the GPS on boot up, (surrounded by other houses), as I am only hovering in my garden. On the log it shows At least 6 Sats during the flight, yet it is still coming up with errors, or is that to be expected due to glitches?
