Get error message while installation of Mission Planner

Hi,

Unlukily I can not install Mission Planner. I downloaded the latest version but no matter what I try I always get the error message while installation “Installation directory must be on a local hard drive” I selected my local hard drive C:/ where all my programms are installed to. Also no other directory worked. Anybody knows the problem? Thanks for your help and sorry for my bad English… :wink:

please try using the MP zip file. I have never seen that error before

You need to run the installation as an administrator.
Find the Command prompt in the Start menu -> right click -> Start as an Administrator ->
change directory to the one with the Mission Planner .msi and execute the installer. Now it should run OK.
