I’m using Mission planner 1.3.56 and apmcopter 3.5.5
I set up a Geofence on my hex for altitude and circle and report only. I took off in loiter mode and headed towards the Geofence. I did not get a warning, the hex just stopped when it hit the Geofence. If I didn’t remember that I had turned the fence on and had somehow missed it being announced on startup, I’d be very puzzled as to why the hex couldn’t go any further, it might make me waste a few minutes figuring it out and possibly lose an opportunity to gather data.
Is it possible to get some sort of audible warning from mission planner that geofence is on and that you are approaching the fence?
