Full throttle when switching to auto mode

When auto mode is activated, car just go full throttle. Changing cruise throttle seems to have no effect. I did calibrated the speed control and radio. Throttle is definitely not reversed. Any suggestions?

@albert,
The CRUISE_THROTTLE parameter does not control the rover speed. CRUISE_THROTTLE is the initial starting throttle value for the rover to start at to reach the CRUISE_SPEED which is in the Advanced Parameter List. The CRUISE_SPEED parameter defaults to 5m/s while I think that the CRUISE_THROTTLE defaults to 35%.
I assume that you are using a car ESC and not an airplane ESC and you have set the min and max throttle range to 0 and 100?
What version of the ArduRover2 code are you using and what version of the MP?
I also assume that you have programmed in a mission with waypoints before going to the auto mode?

Thanks. I did not have the min throttle at 0. Stupid. An other question. Is it possible to have full manual throttle in auto mode? Thanks for the help! :slight_smile:

@albert,
Unfortunately you cannot have manual throttle control in the auto mode.
