But i read it somewhere that we can configure it either for 433 or 915MHz.
The radio operates at a fixed (narrow range of) frequency. If you bought a 915MHz radio, it cannot be software configured to magically become a 433MHz radio. But you can buy SIK radios that do operate at 433.
915 is so much better anyway, because 433 is a crowded frequency range for toys and garage door openers and you are almost guaranteed to have interference
