Follow Lines at a Distance

Hey guys, I’m stuck on an issue and I’m hoping you can help me out. As is, I need my rover to be able to adjust it’s follow distance from the mission plan e.g. follow at 1m left or right of a line instead of on top of it. I need to change the distance often so I’m hoping I don’t have to re shoot all my GPS points every time I need to adjust it. Is there a way to accomplish this through tuning or LUA? I tried messing with my GPS offset value to trick it but I got a lot more weird behavior out of it then I liked.
