Flywoo GOKU GN 745 45A AIO V3

Hi,

I’m in the process of building a lightweight quad around the Flywoo GOKU GN 745 45A AIO V3. It claims Ardupilot support, but I haven’t seen anyone else use it, so figured I’d post my experience.

The hardware is very similar to the previous (V1.2) version, and as such, the existing firmware worked fine.

The one exception to this is the IMU. On V1.2, it’s mounted 180 degrees yaw from the arrow on the board (which is set in FW). On V3, the IMU is mounted 45 degree yaw from the arrow.

This means AHRS_ORIENTATION needed to be set to YAW225.

It looks like the current sense resistor has also been changed. On my board, the BATT_AMP_PERVLT is more like 8.1.

I also found it useful to set SERVO_BLH_AUTO to Enabled to allow pass through of the ESCs (to configure through https://esc-configurator.com/).

On other boards, I’ve used the VTOL QuikTune Lua, but sadly I couldn’t get a firmware compiled for this FC with script support - so manual tuning has been necessary.

I should also mention that this is actually my second one of these boards - the first one turned a protection diode near the USB into an LED. I don’t really know what caused this as it was working fine and I’ve (so far) had no issues with the replacement. I would use a voltmeter to double check continuity before powering a new one up though after that experience.

I mostly wanted to put this out there in case someone else gets this FC and runs into IMU orientation issues - hopefully it’s helpful to someone eventually.
