[FIXED] CubeOrange: stat_runtime and stat_bootcnt don't update

hi all,

just received first cube Orange, loaded copter fw (4.0.2) and it seems to work ok (bench) but i noticed that stat_bootcnt and stat_runtime stays at 1 and 0. Previous Black ones were counting correctly. Is it a known bug maybe?

Ar you reloading the parameters from a file? If yes the file parameters are overwriting the ones in the FC. I have a PR that avoids that, but it is not merged yet.

i loaded param file once, then rebooted many times, but stat params stays steady

I believe you should use 4.0.3 on a Cube Orange, and do the bootloader update too.

i’ve updated to 4.0.3 and bug is still there. Do you have instructions on how to update bootloader?

FIXED! i connected a GPS receiver and it fixed the problem, as Peter Barker suggested! Thanks!
