First flight, lots of questions

I have a Talon pro with Matek H743 wing, GPS, compass airspeed, and HDZero 1W VTX.

I did the maiden flight today.

The plan was to take off in manual, then switch to autotune.
When I switched to autotune, it got really sluggish, ie felt like I was not in control, so I turned it right back off.
So first question is what is autotune supposed to feel like?
IE it had a pretty mellow control response in Manual.
When I flipped on autotune, full right stick seemed to do almost nothing.
So does autotune impose pitch and bank limits?
The docs say to fly aggressively when autotune is on…
by my definition of fly aggressively that’s not possible with autotune engaged.
Advice, settings or or suggestions …?

2nd Problem The radio amost continuously key saying telemetry lost. I’m running 2.4Ghz ELRS from a zorro. On Uart 6 of H743.
Looking in \ardupilot\libraries\AP_HAL_ChibiOS\hwdef\MatekH743\hwdef.dat
The line for uart 6 says: PC6 USART6_TX USART6 NODMA
Its the ONLY uart on the list with NODMA…yet its the one the H743 wing instructions says to wire your RC reciever to ??? Could this be my Radio telemetry issue?
(This was edited I found the RSSI and LQ on RC channels 15,16 in the log)

3rd problem The fonts in the OSD on Sharkbyte/HDZERO are to small to easily read while flying. Is there some way to make them bigger?
I think I set it to use betaflight default fonts… but any advice on configuring fonts/ font sizes would be helpful.

4th question…
On Quads compass quality matters a lot, Probably less so on a plane like this.
Still is there some specific graph or report that would show compass quality?

5th Question
The graphs in mission planner seem pretty useless as it keeps deciding to put black lines on a black background IE the graphs are invisible. What is the best log graphing tool? the auto analysis seemed to have ZERO useful information:

I can post the whole log but its huge 32Mb bin file as it sat on the ground armed while I tested a bunch of things, adjusted some linkages to zero surfaces etc…
