Hi guys, here are some updates on the project for anyone interested.
I finally had some time to assemble most of the conversion stuff, so this is what it looks like at the moment.
Look from above:
Front with lots of cables
Bottom side with brass profile for more wing strength
3D printed parts and brass profile covered with tape
(Tight) Interior with barebone Pixhawk, 11Ah battery and 200A PDB installed
View from the side, lots of work still to do
Next up:
- Connect ESCs with Power Cables and Pixhawk
- Glue Rods to Rod holder and Motors to Rods
- Cover Cables and ESCs with tape for better aerodynamics
- Sort out mess in Cockpit
- Cut out original canopy or 3d print new one
- Set up Pixhawk
- Flight testing
