The latest time I connected the pixhawk to the laptop with the mission planner SW, I was prompted that there was a firmware update. I have not updated the firmware yet, but was wondering about if I had to re-do some previous steps of the initial setup. Specifically, do I need to re-calibrate the GPS, magnetometer, and control radio after updating the firmware?
Depends on what version to what version. I will generally tell you if you need to.
I’m updating Copter from V3.6.4 (stable) to V3.7.0 (beta) and it’s giving me a bunch of “compass not calibrated” errors. I’m guessing this is it’s way of asking to re-calibrate.
