My battery was low. It was sagging to 3.1v. Its a 6s2p li-ion molicel p45b. My next log will be fully charged. I hope its not underpowered. Its all heewings set up. If its that bad ill go back to fixed wing only. In the next 20 minutes ill have a new log
OK, you can at least set the Notch filter now.
That battery is sagging pretty fast. As seen in the previous logs you will lose Stability quickly. launch it and switch to a forward flight mode.
What should i do next? QAutotune. Ive done it before and it completed. IT TOOK A LONG time but my 9000mah battery held up

Managed to only get roll done. Took almost 8000 mah. Motors were cool. They were hot before your filters. Maybe thats why it was underpowered? They were hot after 2 minutes. This time it did its thing for 10 minutes 30ish amps straight. Cool motors. It took a log during want to see it to?
Motors seem ok? I went down to 3.1v per cell. Its 6s. Like i said motors were very hot before now they came down cool. Did look like it lost thrust the whole time.
Looking at the log would ins_htch_hmcs 5 help? Looks like one spike is happening after the 1st notch. Clicking 3rd harmonic check box seems to cover it? Still learning. Im really liking aurdupilot over inav.

Looks like this log truncates before it’s landed and disarmed. If so then the Auto Tuned parameters were not saved.
You should update to the latest Stable version of Plane.
It did save my log ended way before i finished. Are my motor still looking underpowered?
I finally enabled bidirectional dshot. Heewings fx405 motor groups had to be wired a specific way for bidirectional. I assumed since dshot was working i had it right but it wasnt. Im going to take another log. If you dont mind looking at it. For some reason post filters are not showing up.

The problem in that case was that all the unit log messages were dropped from the log so the tool did not realize that it had IMU instances. Not really a whole lot we can do to better understand the log with missing information but we can at least give a better error.
I think you should update to latest Stable before doing anything else. The RPM driven notch filter is not picking up the 1st mode.

That first peak at 41 hz might need a fixed filter to target it.
I updated to 4.5.6. Qautotune isnt available. I get a error that 22 doesnt exist. Not even the parameter q_autotune _axes is gone. It does show up in my flight modes. It worked in 4.4.2. This is a heewing fx-405 flight controller. Do i need to go back to older firmware to tune?
