FFT Harmonic Notch Filters - and IMU selection

I’m setting up FFT for the first time in a couple of years. I’m using a CubePilot Orange+ flight controller.

The FFT parameters allow selecting any combination of the three IMU’s - IMU-0, IMU-1, and IMU-2.

Assuming the flight controller has enough memory and processing power, should I select all three IMU’s?

Also - I recall that on the original Cube Orange, there was a service bulletin that stated that a parameter be set to begin operation with the second IMU - as there was some issue with the first IMU.

Is this still the case? And as I recall, the Orange+ flight controller doesn’t have this problem.

Do I recall these details correctly?

And if I’m using a flight controller that has the problematic IMU - should it be included in the FFT selection for IMU?

You remember correctly. Presumably you mean batch logging? Yes on all IMUs is helpful, although to save log bandwidth you could just do the primary.

Thank you Andy.

On the Cube Orange with the problematic 1st IMU - should it be excluded from the FFT logging?
