Hello,
I recently walked through the Methododic Configurator to setup a 3.5" quadcopter. I did not follow it using the tool, rather followed through the documentation and did everything in Mission Planner. My build is flying well, though “well” is subjective to the individual. What I would like is to have the experts weight in and see if I have completed the basics properly. I did have a GPS attached to configure the optical flow but have since removed it because most, if not all, of my flying is in GPS-denied environments.
What has me scratching my head the most is reviewing the IMU Spectogram post-filter, I see a lot of orange. I am using ESC Telemetry based notch filtering. I’m wondering what I can do to improve the filtering because I see a lot of posts on the forum where people’s IMU Spectogram shows more blue, which, to me, implies their filtering is much better.
I posted two logs. The first is a gentle hover and the second is some casual pitch and rolls.
Thank you!
