I’m wondering if the FBWB flight mode has any issues when GPS signal is lost.
For example, if I’m flying my VTOL over the sea on a ship, in a long distance, and the GPS signal is lost or interferes, can I switch to FBWB mode to return back to the ship, relying solely on the compass and FPV screen?
I was going to say yes, you can still use FBWB, but I just double checked the wiki and it says that FBWB uses the GPS. I wonder if you have a compass functioning then that might not be an issue. I know cruise would be out of the question without GPS. That said, since most compasses are in the GPS, if you’ve lost the GPS you’ve probably also lost the compass. I know FBWA will work.

I have GPS for yaw so maybe I have to use internal compass.
FBWA is too dangerous when use with delayed FPV screen, so I think arduplane should work in FBWB when GPS signal is lost.
FBWA can be used with telemetry HUD it should be much faster than FPV
