Failsafe_long_actn behaviour

I am looking to get some clarification on the below.

Scenario is - I am flying on a mission with waypoints. I then choose to switch to guided mode. While in guided mode, I get a failsafe long action.
My question is, will the aircraft revert back to continue the mission to the next waypoint, or will it just continue in guided mode and loiter around whatever point I clicked on the map?

“If the aircraft was in an auto mode (such as AUTO or GUIDED) when the failsafe started then it will continue in the auto mode if FS_LONG_ACTN is set to 0”

The way I read it, it would just go to that point and loiter until you either re-connect or the battery dies.
