Esp8622 mavlink bridge in

Hi ,

Im using the project

And i was wondering if i could use a NEO gps module just to pinpoint gps location and show up in mission planner or Qgroundcontrol via the udp port.

I want to hook the gps module to the esp8622 and show up on the missionplanner app
I soldered the rx and tx of the gps module to the rx and tx of the esp8622 in hopes this might show up in mission planner with only GPS coords but nothing.
