ESC telemetry using CAN connection (specifically rpm)

I’ve had good success using Bi-Direction BLHeli using 4-in-1 ESC’s connected to the AUX ports.

I use the rpm telemetry successfully for filtering.

I noticed that Mad-Components makes a FOC 4-in-1 ESC with CAN and PWM connections. It does not have a telemetry pad/connection.

I’m curious to know if ArduPilot’s support for CAN connected ESC’s support telemetry within the CAN connection - and if so, what requirements are on the ESC for this to work?

We do, really depends on how they have implemented the CAN protocol as some are different I believe.
