ESC not beeping/responding when connected to Pixhawk

I have a pixhawk 2.4.8 and am trying to set it up for the first time. However, when turned on, the esc is not giving any signs of life. There is no beeping on startup, no response to throttle when armed. I know the esc, motor, batteries, and tx/rx work when not connected to the pixhawk and directly connected to each other. The motor is a 650kv brushless motor connected to 80 amp esc and 6s lipo, the transmitter is Flysky i6x and receiver is Flysky i6ab. The transmitter is set to PPM and S-Bus mode, I am not sure if those are the correct settings. Is there anything else I can try to fix this issue?

Do the motors run when using Mission planners Motor Test function? If not and it arms post a link to a .bin log file.

Is the Servo bus powered? Do the ESCs have integrated BECs?

This is for Plane, I didn’t catch that. Motor Test won’t work for you.

Hi, I just realized I made a very dumb mistake and connected the ESC to the AUX Out on the Pixhawk instead of Main out. It works when connected to main out (who would’ve guessed :sob:). Sorry for the waste of time and thanks everyone for their help.
