Error Building from git clone

When i open the .snl file in visual studio i get a error saying project file could not be found. Saying that it cannot find following file
Extlibs\mono\mcs\class\system.windiws.forms\system.windiws.forms-net_4_x.csproj : error : the project file is missing.

When i conrinue and build anyway i get several other errors, saying that some file is either on the internet or not available.

Please help and if there is any build tutorial. There is one on youtube but it is from backin 2014.

Bump… i would like to change the gui such that the tabs on the left bottom … quick, gauges and soo on can be popped out in seperate windows to be placed in connected displays.

I am following instructions on
ardupilot.org/dev/docs/build-in-mission-planner.html

I get errors of missing dlls. As per the instruction on this page i am trying to reference to the installed directory of the mission planner but the i cannot find the Reference Paths button in the Properties window.
