Alexis, Our nomenclature sometimes gets in our way here. When you say PX4 do you mean you are using a v4 platform or a PX4 based flight controller rather than a Pixhawk based or that you are using the PX4 flight stack?
In doing a little search it seems like a lot of similar reports.

Recently I’ve had a quad going in and out of EKF-Failsafes. The same quad flew 5 completely normal flights on that same day.
The log shows sawtooths on EKF/Normalized GPS Innovations":

Compass & IMU looks normal.
Before diving into the EKF code to understand what’s going on - Is there a checklist to go over when seeing such jumps in the position / velocity innovations?

Interesting discusion with Matt about memory problems on the Pixhawk 2.0 with EKF3 enabled. So check to make sure EKF3 is not enabled.
Some further discussion on EKF2 vs EKF3 after today’s dev call. The issue prompting this was the solo running out of memory on the Pixhawk 2 when both EKF2 and EKF3 are enabled.
The current documentation indicates that EKF3 is there in “ride along”. Does this require EK3_Enable=1 to be set in order for it to ride along? If so, that would seem to imply that AHRS_EKF_USE would still be set for 2. So AC is using EKF2 for flight, but EKF3 is running in the background for logging and testing. T…

I keep getting this and not sure what to do. The pix hawk keeps spewing it out. both in APM planner and in dronekit-python.
any thoughs?
