EKF Thrust Loss Warning / Identifying Crash Reason

Hello, we are facing an issue in identifying the reason for a drone crash. The UAV had just completed a survey and started RTL, when one of the motors (Motor 3) saturated and the UAV rolled to a 30 degree angle. The UAV then started losing altitude while on the RTL path, and then hit the ground at some distance from home. We initially believed that there might have been some structural issue or motor failure, but we can’t seem to find any evidence for that. We tested all the motors on a test bench and they seem to be working fine. The propellers were also all recovered.

Can anyone help pinpoint why Motor 3 suddenly saturated while in RTL resulting in the crash. Also no ‘EKF Thrust Loss Warning’ was given to the operator, as checked during the messages in the flight log.
