During one of our flight mission, the EKF Status of Compass variance went above 1. The copter was in Auto mode when this happened. So, seeing the EKF status we switched to Loiter and once the variance became normal we put it in RTL mode. Though the event lasted for 20 seconds, it was a major hamper to our mapping mission. We request your views on this condition.
As of now, we think its a case of interference from something around. We took one more mission at another location and the copter flew well.
