EKF Failsafe on Rover

I´m running a boat with Rover 4.0 on a Pixhawk Cube. The EKF FS setting gives two choices: disabled or hold. Can anyone tell me what both options do on an auto mission? The most important question, is the one or the other cause an abort of the mission?

Disabled is obvious, Hold will switch to Hold Mode and the vehicle will stop until a mode change is made. If it happens during an Auto Mission and you switch back to Auto the Mission will resume.

Ok, thanks! My hope was, that hold would switch back to auto automaticly as soon as EKF FS is solved.
