I recently got a DIY Quad from 3DRRobotics with a Pixhawk and I got everything to work except Channel 5 on my Spektrum DX6i. After reading the forums and guides everything says to set mix 1 to gear->gear, but my DX6i doesn’t have that option. What should the optimal settings be to allow my Quad to change modes and also have the return to home feature?

I am using a Dx6i as well for flying my PIXHAWK controlled quad, and I do have the 6 modes enabled to be able to switch flight modes…
Did you figure out the menu options on the DX6i, because if I get into explaining the settings I am using you need to be familiar with these menu’s and how to get from menu setting to the next…
Basically I am using three single switches, (Gear, Elev D/R, and Ail D/R) to get the 6 controlling values, for the modes…

Yes i was able to figure it out. I was setting it up as a heli instead of a plane.
